The Evaluation Committee composed of representatives of Slovenské elektrárne and partners of the Energy Summer School 2016 during its meeting on 1 June 2016 selected 20 students from among 107 candidates who will take part in the Energy Summer School 2016. Are you among them?SEE THE RESULTS
Energy Summer School 2016 is open to all full-time university students, who have completed at least the first year of their undergraduate studies and speak English at least at the B2 level (independent user according to the Common European Framework of Reference).
Undergraduate, graduate as well as postgraduate students regardless of their field of study (f.e. technology, engineering, law, economics, social sciences, natural sciences, business, etc.) are welcome to apply.
The program of the event in terms of focus and topics is aimed at students studying in the Visegrad region or students coming from the region and studying abroad, interested in the regional energy sector and who plan to concentrate on this topic in their future careers.
Students will be able to apply online between 18 April and 18 May 2016 25 May 2016. Completed online application must be submitted by 24:00 CET on 18 May 2016 25 May 2016 and must include the following:
- completed online application, including answers to all the questions in English,
- copy of the academic transcript for the last completed academic year in English.
Applications will be reviewed by the evaluation committee composed of representatives of Slovenské elektrárne and partners. They will select 20 participants to take part in the Energy Summer School 2016 from among the applicants. Evaluation of applications will take place between 19 May 26 May and 3 June 2016.
The evaluation committee will take into consideration interest of applicant in topics, which are subject of the summer school, the originality and creativity of the applicant’s answers in the online application, his/her extracurricular activities, publications and other engagements, including applicant’s academic results.
The evaluation committee will also consider the place of study of applicant in order to ensure balanced participation of students from each of the Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia).
Successful applicants will be informed via email by 3 June 2016. They will then receive a binding application for the Energy Summer School 2016 to be signed and returned by 10 June 2016 at the latest.
