Burzovní palác, Rybná 682/14, PrahaIn 2005 Slovenské elektrárne established a representation office in the Czech Republic in the legal form of a branch. In the first two years of its operation on the Czech electricity market, the business activities related mainly to wholesale market and significantly contributed to the development of market environment and liquidity in the area of electricity supplies.

In 2008, Slovenské elektrárne confirmed its aim to develop its business activities while focusing on the final consumer market.

In 2015, the company confirmed its position as one of the largest energy suppliers in the segment of end customers in the Czech Republic.
