Renewable ("green") hydrogen produced in an electrolyser by decomposing water into hydrogen and oxygen using 100% electricity from renewable electricity sources (PV, hydro).
European legislation (RED III) requires that at least 42% of the grey hydrogen consumed in the industry will be replaced by renewable hydrogen by 2030, with a gradual increase to 60% by 2035. In transportation, the target is to replace 1% of current fuel consumption with renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO) by 2030.
In Slovakia, the current consumption of the grey hydrogen in industry is approximately 250 thousand tonnes per year. To meet the above targets, approximately 100 thousand tonnes of renewable hydrogen will need to be produced and delivered annually by 2030 and 150 thousand tonnes by 2035. For this reason, there is already a great deal of interest in contracts for the supply of renewable hydrogen among industrial companies and transport operators.

The dispensing point in the form of a refueling station is directly accessible from the main road I/64. The access road is sufficiently dimensioned for bus and heavy cargo traffic.
