The Bešeňová small hydroelectric power plant is located downstream the Liptovská Mara reservoir and its primary function is to balance run-offs from peak-load operation of the Liptovská Mara pumped storage power plant. There are two horizontal sets installed at the utility and its operation is managed through level control.
