Built up on the balancing reservoir downstream the Ružín pumped storage power plant (PSPP), the Ružín II small hydro power plant processes evenly flow rates from peak-load operation of the the PSPP.
There is installed a single set featuring a direct-flow Kaplan turbine at the utility.
