Horná Streda hydroelectric power plant is the last stage of this cascade of HPP´s and its discharge channel empties in front of the Sĺňava reservoir in Piešťany into the Váh riverbed. The Nové Mesto cascade is the last cascade of the hydroelectricpower plants on the Váh river.
