Lipovec hydroelectric power plant is the last stage on the diversion channel Krpeľany-Sučany-Lipovec and downstream this HPP the diversion empties into the Váh riverbed. As is the case with the other HPP´s on this channel, also the Lipovec HPP has a total maximum usable flow of 210 m3.sec-1, giving the entire cascade the possibility of operating particularly in peak-load operation.
