The Nováky power plant is located in the town of Zemianske Kostoľany in the district of Prievidza. Electricity and heat generation from lignite ended on December 20, 2023. A new phase, new challenges and new opportunities await the power plant. The infrastructure it offers is promising for renewables as well as other sectors.
