Sučany hydroelectric power plant is located on the diversion channel downstream the Krpeľany HPP, therefore its maximum usable flow is the same as that at the higher-laying stage. This principle applies to all of the diversion hydroelectricpower plants. Thanks to a higher head, also the installed capacity of this plant is higher as compared to the Krpeľany HPP.
