While performing its activities, our company Slovenské elektrárne, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) collects and processes various personal data of natural persons. We approach the data and its processing with adequate responsibility and always in compliance with the applicable legal regulations, particularly the following:
Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”)
Act No. 18/2018 Coll., dated 29 November 2017, on Personal Data Protection and on the amendment of certain acts as amended (hereinafter only the “Act”)

Our Company respects the protection of your privacy and appreciates your trust that you put in us when we process your personal data. In order to protect your personal data, we have implemented all appropriate security measures (of technical, organisational and other nature) and processes for the control of continuous compliance therewith and sufficiency thereof. We also regularly update the security measures and perform inspections in order to prevent any unauthorised access to personal data or unauthorized manipulation with the data.
We process your personal data solely in the scope and for the period inevitable for meeting the respective purpose of their processing. The personal data processing period and potential subsequent storage is based either on relevant acts or other binding regulations (e.g. mandatory storing of accounting documents and therefore also personal data, which comprise a part of them), our internal regulations (such as our binding registry plan approved by the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic) or for operational needs and legitimate interests, which we pursue in particular processing of personal data. After the determined storage period has expired, or the reasons for processing the data or subsequent storing of personal data cease to exist, they are erased or securely removed in some other way.
